About Lella
Hi, I’m Lella. I am a Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, Somatic Art Coach, Poet, Seer, and Women’s Rights Activist.
I have over eight years of experience guiding individuals and groups through embodied practice and creative inquiry. I have been teaching yoga since 2018, and my approach is rooted in trauma-informed methodology, emphasizing safety and agency. I have learned that Yoga is not an exercise, but a pathway to self-knowledge and inner authority.
My spiritual and creative journey began with a profound awakening in 2016. What began as personal transformation evolved into a professional practice grounded in embodiment, reflection, and reclamation of self.
My work integrates yoga, somatic art, and tarot as tools for personal transformation. I believe clarity and liberation happen through the body. Somatic inquiry allows us to listen to sensation and emotion directly, while tarot functions as a reflective mirror. It helps us examine whether our direction, energy, and choices are aligned with who we are becoming.
Beyond individual practice, I am deeply committed to women’s rights and community wellness. My activism developed organically through writing, podcasting, and public dialogue. I speak openly about dismantling patriarchal systems, personal freedom, Afrofeminism, and the lived experience of being a Black woman navigating self-definition.
My sisters and I spearheaded a campaign featured on Radio Workshop, amplifying conversations around women’s rights and collective empowerment.
All of my offerings are interconnected. In every workshop or class I guide, I bring together embodiment, creative expression, and critical symbolic reflection to support meaningful and grounded transformation.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my work. I look forward to resourcing you.
